Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam is a collection of quatrains (four-line verses) attributed to the Persian poet, astronomer, and mathematician Omar Khayyam (1048–1131).

The most famous English translation was done by Edward FitzGerald in the 19th century, which brought Khayyam's poetry to a Western audience and became a literary classic.

The poetry explores themes of love, fate, the passage of time, and the fleeting nature of life. Many verses reflect a philosophy of living in the moment and embracing life's pleasures, often symbolized by wine and companionship.

This is a hard back binding in the publisher's original brown cloth covers, with gilt title and Persian design to the spine and to the front cover.

It is the the text of the first, second and fifth editions, with the variants from the third and fourth editions.

It is 201 pages (+ 23pp) carrying the 101 quatrains of Edward FitzGerald's 19th century version plus 12 full-page single-sided colour illustrations by Robert Stewart Sherriffs throughout.
