This is a full colour print from an original work by by AF Lydon (1909) for the poultry publication, The Feathered World. Labled Messrs. Firth Bros'. Indian Game it is signed and dated.
It is also marked with the publisher's name, the breed Indian Game which is a British breed of game chicken, now reared either for meat or show. The ones illustated were winners of several shows, including the International Challenge Trophy at Crystal Palace.
The full colour landsape orientation image is mounted under glass in an attractive faux tortoiseshell style frame.
This is an attractive piece of wall art, ideal for the kitchen, and also an item of interest for poultry enthusiasts.

The condition of the print is generally good, given its age. There is some foxing and minor discolouration on the left side border , and at some point the frame's backing has been replaced. There are no apparent scratches, chips or marks.
