This is an early 20th century Italian Triptych, with three painted panels featuring the Madonna and child.
The closed panels feature a distinctive decoration and when opened the inside reveals a major centre panel and two illustrated wing panels.
The panel borders and base are painted gold. The reverse is painted black and there is an old typewritten label with text that appears to be Fillipino Lippi La Vergine in Aderhziene Uffizi-Firenze.
However, the label is old and was written on a typewriter with some indistinct characters. Lippi was a 15th century Italian artist.
